Last Sunday, on our way to church we had surprise guests waiting for us at our church– Josh and Anna Duggar and their children.
Of course, the children absolutely love spending time with their cousins. Davia and Meredith had so much fun with each other as they “dressed up” and “played house.”
The children also enjoyed hanging out in the motorhome that Josh and Anna traveled in.
The guys were worn out after playing football, soccer, baseball and several other games and finally slowed down enough for us to capture a quick picture of them together. I think they actually came in because they smelled some fresh cookies Priscilla was taking out of the oven.
Grandma Keller had sent some matching dresses and Davia and Meredith were so happy pretending to be twins for the day.
Date Night
Often our times together, if planned can provide for some meaningful time away. We have some very kind friends who trade turns watching our children while we go to town and run errands and have a date. The following week, we watch their children. This has been such a blessing!
Meaningful conversation is often what allows relationships to grow. This sometimes is while driving, shopping, or on a romantic date. The main necessity is time together.
Priscilla made an awesome pot pie and David put the finishing touches on the crust by fluting the edges and adding a decorative vent.
