Florida Family Fun

This past week, we took a fun trip for some vacation down in Florida at the home where Priscilla grew up. Whether playing tennis, going to the Kennedy Space Center or playing in the mud with the ATV, we enjoyed a wonderful week with her parents and brothers.

One afternoon, while Priscilla and her mom were enjoying some time chatting as ladies and taking care of Paul, David and Priscilla’s dad and brothers had a tennis match.

Dad Keller may look like he would miss a trick cheap shot from David, but he did amazing returning this one.

Paul is growing so much. One evening, he feel asleep in our arms and we thought we would surprise Grandma Keller, Priscilla’s mother, by having Paul take her usual late night pose in her chair :-).

Somehow, every time we visit Florida we have to take a little time to enjoy the mud. With Florida’s conveniently high water table and frequent torrents of rain it does not take much to turn the back couple of acres into a good mud hole for an afternoon of fun.

Christians too can have good clean fun… while at least fun even thought it is not always clean. 🙂

There is always time to pause to enjoy the moment! Thankfully David’s helmet had a visor so he did not get mud in his face.

Priscilla, Paul and Grandma Keller enjoyed getting to spend much time together. Grandma enjoyed spending time with Paul as well. He has a cute shirt that says, “When the going gets tough, just call grandma.”David’s sister, Sarah and her teammates, Heidi, and Ruthie were able to come with us for a fun day at the Kennedy Space Center. All three of these young ladies are working in a special pilot program in a ladies prison in Florida. They are able to disciple many ladies who are incarcerated and have been doing a fantastic job. Your prayers would be a blessing to them and to their work.

Outside of the new exhibit for the Atlantis Shuttle. Look out for a wild ride with Priscilla at the controls! Thankfully it was only a display otherwise her driving would be out of this world:-).When God created the stars, it was pretty simply recorded, “he made the stars also” (Genesis 1:16). We have spent decades of years and loads of money to discover what He made in a moment of time. We really enjoyed seeing the incredible creation of men that has helped us capture a little glimpse of the incredible creation of the God. Someone once said, “The hand that made the universe wrote the Bible.” That is an awesome concept!Scripture states, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalm 19:1). It was estimated that it took 66 million dollars for use to send each man up to space so far. They have spent all that money to simply understand more of the glory of God.Grandpa and Grandma Keller sure enjoyed watching Paul while all of us focused on the incredible displays. Nathan, Priscilla, and David enjoyed spending time together after so much of life changing for them after Priscilla moved up to Chicago area. They have grown so much since then both physically as well as spiritually.
