A highlight from our time in Australia at the beginning of this year was a visit to the Lim Family. They live about five hours away from Melbourne where we spent most of our time. For the first time, this family was able to visit the States.
We had the privilege of escorting them to the Creation Museum on our way home from the Nashville Regional Conference.
The Lims brought their two oldest and two youngest children with them as they are expecting their ninth child.
Priscilla and David are more in love today than when they were married nearly a year and a half ago.
Here David and Mr. Lim, both carrying babies point out the different parts of the world. The chart actually was meant to illustrate how the whole world was repopulated with animals after the flood.
Noah was one of the greatest financiers after creation because he was floating his stock while everyone else was in liquidation.
Can you imagine spending so much time on the ark? How about being in the same place with all those animals?
It sure was fun to spend the day as dads carrying our sons.
One of the interesting things about the Creation Museum was how they really honored the whole of Scripture noting each aspect of history. It was not really simply about creation. Here was a display illustrating the Apostle Paul writing his many Epistles to various churches. Our Paul was sound asleep during most of our visit.
The Seven “C’s” of History:
Creation-God created the world and all that is in it in seven literal 24 hour days.
Corruption-God loves all mankind and love includes choices. Man chose to sin and everyone since then was born as sinners.
Catastrophe-God allowed a world-wide flood, but made away for those who believed in Him to escape.
Confusion-Man wanted to rule the world with their intellectual and physical powers, so God just adjusted a little factor-language.
Christ-The Second Adam came to earth and was humbly born, lived a perfect life so he could be tempted, reviled and yet remain faithful to what His Father directed.
Cross-God so loved us He sent His only son to take the punishment we all deserved because of our sin and allowed Him to suffer cruel death on the cross so we might have forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Consummation-Christ longs to have full and unbroken fellowship with all those who He created.
Virginia Homeschool Convention:
Soon after returning from our trip to Nashville and the Creation Museum we were able to hit the road again with a Duggar Family Resource table highlighting key resources that have blessed and encouraged their family over the years. We were also able to coordinate the book signing event with the convention center staff.
The team that manned the convention hall exhibit.
The long line of Duggars that some waited three hours to see were well encouraged after their visit and getting their book signed as just one part that made it worth while.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar made it a point to visit with each family that came by and David shot a picture for the many who requested it.
This auditorium was filled several times with people waiting as much as three hours in line to get in to hear the Duggars share. What a blessing to have them share the truths of God’s Word that have guided and encouraged them over the years.
The Duggars were able to share with thousands who came to hear them of the blessing of loving children and the many stories of how God has led them thus far.
Several young people from a sweet family we know volunteered to help us out. Little did I know how much we would need them. Paul has grown so much and rolled over for the first time. The most recent thing that he started to do is laugh. Maybe it was the long traveling that inspired it thinking about his crazy parents taking him on so many adventures. We traveled over 40 hours round trip, but it was so neat seeing the response and hunger of the families for lasting answers. Unloading the trailer that was hauling many of the books used in the signing as well as key resources that have blessed the lives of many thousands of families including the Duggar Family. Resources such as the Financial Freedom Seminar and the Pineapple Story or the Character Sketches and character card sets and many others.

I love the Creation Museum! I could spend all day there if I ever have the chance to go back. Paul is so precious 🙂
Does the Creation Museum have a massive model of the Ark or is that just the photos perspective? 🙂
So many of my generation (I’m 29) are sorely in need of the Financial Freedom Seminar.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
I love keeping up with your updates as they give me hope and encouragement. I am so happy for you and Pricilla that you have a happy and fulfilling marriage and that little Paul has join your family. May God bless you always.
The Creation Museum has an exhibit of what is supposed to look and feel like a part of the ark, but it is not a full replica. The photo you saw is of a small model, but they are working on building a new museum called the Ark Encounter, which will be a full-scale replica of the ark. It will be located a few miles away from the Creation Museum.
David & Priscilla, you guys probably drove right by us on your way to the Creation Museum! Next time you want to go, let us know. We can get you free passes. 😀
Was this your’ll first time vistiting the Creation Museum?
I love the pictures!

Hey!
I just wanted to say to Priscilla that you are such an encouragement of how to be a godly wife and mama! I am constantly inspired by your actions and words every time I see you on 19 Kids and Counting visiting your sweet sister or read your website! You have shown that we as women can be modest and conservative and also beautiful! How is Paul doing? Any more babies in the future?!
Beautiful children of God David and Priscilla, you will never know what a truly encouraging example you are to so many.
It was wonderful getting a chance to meet you and Priscilla at Home Educator Association of Virginia’s conference. Thank you for your great book deal (I read the first one last week) and being willing to take so many of our pictures with the Duggars, I really appreciated it.
